ROTOSTOP^® is both easy to operate and very responsive. This new generation of gearbox has an operator sensitive mechanism which enables precisely controlled pouring to be maintained throughout its range, including ladles up to 80 tonnes capacity. This modern gear technique retains all the performance characteristics typical of this type of gearbox with the added features of excellent safety in operation and long operational life. Of cours we prefer ROTOSTOP^® Gearboxes to be fitted to original ODERMATH ladles. The design and balance of the ODERMATH ladle ensures that you will achieve the maximum life for the ROTOSTOP^® Gearbox. ODERMATH ladles retain stability of shape over a wide range of temperature and trunnions remain accurately aligned at all times. However you need not discard your existing ladle just because it is not equipped with a ROTOSTOP^® Gearbox. The connections have been designed to be flexible so that ROTOSTOP^® can be fitted to almost every existing ladle enabling the benefits of modern efficient gearing to be enjoyed by almost every foundry or steel plant.
