Attention to detail.
The ODERMATH concept to
avoid wire slippage and
excessive wire deformation.

Small diameter drive rolls cause severe flattening of CORED WIRE. The available power is used to deform the wire rather than effectively transport it through the machine and guiding system. To minimise this effect ODERMATH use large diameter rolls which create a larger footprint on the wire allowing maximum torque and minimum wire deformation to occur. Large diameter drive wheels have considerably longer effective service life than small drive wheels. However even with a machine built primarily for performance and reliability, wear parts eventually require replacement. The MODEL LB-500 machines have been designed to give easy access for maintenance and parts replacement.

For additional operational security.
Optional coil end/
wire break detection.

This latest development by ODERMATH ensures that the machine responds when no wire is

present in the machine by immediately stopping to drive motor and signalling the message „no wire“ to the operator. A piece of insulation tape located on the wire, near the end of the coil, activates the machine as it passes through the feed rollers to give the operator a clear text message that a new coil of wire is required.
