The operation terminal offers „Operator Friendly“ programming of wire lengths and speeds. Additional functions available from the terminal include:

• Additions in wire length or weigth.
• Constant monitoring of amount of wire left on the coil.
• Wire slippage indication.
• Fault indication using clear text messages.

Often wire injection is required to be controlled from the plant control room.

In this situation the control terminal on the machine is replaced by either a serial interface link or a L2-bus link. Alternatively the machine can be supplied with both a control terminal and a link with the control room.

Additionally all machines are equipped with local control panels with the following functions:

• Jog forward/reverse
• Rollers up/down
• Fault indication
• Guide tube up/down
